Department of Business Management

The Department of Business Management has always been in the forefront exhibiting excellence in Academic & Co-curricular activities right from the inception of the MBA Programme in 1991. The Department takes pride in its ability to adapt to the ever changing business environment. It has earned a reputation for producing managers groomed to take up the challenges of the dynamic world of business.

The curriculum designed by Osmania University is at par with that of premiere B- Schools in India, providing a good blend of theory and practice. The students are offered dual specialization in various functional disciplines and exposed to the dynamics of the corporate world through guest lectures, seminars, case studies and workshops apart from their academic schedule. A healthy emphasis is given to work experience & industry exposure, which help them meet emerging needs of the Industry. It is a constant endeavor of the Faculty to give inputs to the student which are designed to bridge the gap between what the recruiters look for and what B- Schools provide. Our MBAs undergo rigorous pedagogy, case methodology, guest lectures by Industry executives, group discussions, etc. to inculcate effective delivery and practically oriented skills in them. These activates are designed to equip future managers to meet the challenges of the changing global business environment. We constantly endeavor to channelize the institutional resources to help bring out the individuals innate qualities and instill in them a passion of lifelong learning. In recent surveys the M.B.A program has been ranked in the top 20 institutions in the state.
